Today was such a weird yet guessable business...when i went to work...not much usual customers came today because mostly of them coming yesterday [New Years] for out restaurants big raffle thing we had.
One of the customers won a big 32' TV. {somewhat by luck} I had feeling he just got lucky lols. Since he said some stuff about picking up lucky objects and such.. but yeah. Who wouldve knew he would pick a Big 32' TV?..lols.
Another customer won a laptop computer too. but it was nice. it actually suited him cauze he was the person who sorta looked like he needed a computer soon or badly and needed for his business.
Every customer came that was qualified for the raffle. I laughed when my mom went to the middle center to help other customers pick #s and names. I felt so bad for her cauze she had to waste so much money on the stuff and prizes especially the TV and the Laptop computer too.
But still the raffle thing turned out pretty awesome. (kinda thought was a bit lame but still at least some people had fun)

Anyways it the 2nd day of January already i feel like my luck about to change for this coming year of 2009. I hope this year as my New Years Resolution ish for everyone and my friends and family members to stay healthy and nice to each other. To have less problems and devestating news brought up..and such. I also wish for everyone in my family to get back together again as one big happy family and hopefully just once to have a big family dinner soon so we can all take family pictures and such. (That be so awesomeee!) but yeah.

Hope everyone has a nice New Year! lols.
Anyways yeah. Just want to wish every one a nice New Year and for everyone to take care.

Moonlight Resonance - Episode 3

There's bad news for Hor Ma's side of the family. Ho received a phone call and was informed that they no longer get to eat their much awaited reunion dinner on the actual day. Tat Suk was extremely disappointed but Hor Ma assured him that she'll find a way to solve whatever problem there is and promised him that he'll get his wish.

It seems that Lai had a change of heart and didn't want her grandchildren to go ver to the other side. She was watching tv when she suddenly think of her deceased son, Chuen (Tai Jo's younger brother). She has always hold Hor Ma responsible for Chuen's death and thus, she wants to exert her revenge by disallowing her grandchildren from having their Mid-Autumn reunion dinner.

Flashback scene: Lai is in the hospital, she has some heart problems. The whole family is there with her including Chuen. Chuen then ask Hor Ma to leave the room as he wants to have a word with her. He apparently wants to borrow money from Hor Ma but she turned him down. She has already lent him money many times before and says she doesn't have anymore to spare. Chuen claims that he has large debts to settle and if he can't get any money, he threatens to commit suicide. Hor Ma is still adamant that she does not have any money to lend Chuen at the same time telling him that she has heard his empty threats many times before. Unfortunately, this time it's the real deal. Chuen did commit suicide, he jumped off a building.

Nien Tze Yong was summoned to see Yan Hong. It appeared that Nien Tze Yong is thinking of jumping ship over to another bakery but was found out by Yan Hong. Yan Hong immediately fired Nien Tze Yong and warn all bakeries not to hire him. Should anyone hire Nien Tze Yong, that would mean they are trying to find trouble with Yan Hong.

Nien Tze Yong is jobless and he has to take care of his sister. The only person that can help him is Hor Ma but he is ashamed of what he did previously. It was Hor Ma who prodded him and ask him to tell her his problems. Hor Ma decided to hire Nien Tze Yong!

Upon learning that Hor Ma has in fact dared to hire Nien Tze Yong, Yan Hong immediately told Yuen and Chung that they do not have to go over for reunion dinner anymore. She insist that Hor Ma does not respect her so she doesn't have to return the favour. Hor Ma quickly called Tai Jo's mobile to speak to Yan Hong. They had a war of words which was won by Hor Ma. Hor Ma lied that she hired Nien Tze Yong as an odd-job worker which she can fire anytime. She just need him temporarily as she has back problems. Yan Hong agree to let the children go back for reunion again when Hor Ma falsely promised her that she will fire Nien Tze Yong the very moment her back heals.

Sum knows that all the children will be attending the reunion dinner with Hor Ma's family. She also considers herself part of the family as she is Chau. She knew that Yan Hong wouldn't allow her to attend so she bluffed Yan Hong, saying that she will be celebrating Mid-Autum festival with her friends. During dinner, Yan Hong called Sum to check on her. Coincidentally, in the background, Ka and Ho were playing some guessing game when someone shouted "Hor Ma's hand"! Yan Hong heard that and she was unhappy. She quickly called Tai Jo to ask if they have finished eating and say that since she and Lai is nearby the restaurant they will drop by to pick them up. Tai Jo said he will meet them outside but when Lai asked Yan Hong, she twisted her words and told Lai that Tai Jo will need to spend more time there. This caused Lai to be angry as well. They stormed up to the restaurant!

As Nien Tze Yong was there with them, Tai Jo quickly asked Sum and Nien Tze Yong to leave quickly, but they met at the door. Lai demanded that she Tai Jo and the children leave immediately as they already spent a "long" time for dinner. Hor Ma as Lai to allow them to finish their dinner as they only have 3 more dishes to go. Yan Hong said that it is her duty, as Lai's daughter-in-law, to help Lai take the children home. Yan Hong also blamed Hor Ma for not keeping her promised (Hor Ma promised to fire Nien Tze Yong) but Hor Ma told Yan Hong, that it was Yang Hong who never kept her promise.

When Yan Hong came to work for Hor Ma innitially, she vowed that she will treat Hor Ma as her sister for the rest of her life, but she didn't do it. Yan Hong was left speechless at Hor Ma's statement, but Lai stand up for Yan Hong. Lai scolded Hor Ma again for causing her younger son, Chuen's death and claimed that Tai Jo also put the blame on her. She said the reason Tai Jo divorced Hor Ma had nothing to do with Yan Hong but because Tai Jo could no longer sleep on the same bed as the person who indirectly kill his brother.

Hor Ma says that she'll have to carry the burden of causing Chuen's death to her deathbed but she also questioned Tai Jo and Lai's responsibility in the matter. They never helped Chuen and Chuen constantly seek Hor Ma's help instead of his own mother and brother.

Nien Tze Yong could not longer contain his anger and blurt out that it wasn't Hor Ma who caused Chuen's death. Nien Tze Yong said that Chuen gambled in Macau the night before he died and he won big. He managed to settle all his debts with money to spare. The reason Chuen commited suicide was because his girlfriend, Lulu has dumped him and left with another man! Nien Tze Yong also spilled the beans that a year before Chuen's death, Tai Jo already started his affair with Yan Hong. (Tai Jo always use the excuse that Hor Ma caused Chuen's death, so they can't be together!)

Lai then summoned all the grandchildren on her side to leave with her but Yuen and Chung both voiced out that they want to finished their reunion dinner with Tat Suk.

New Year brings New changes and New wished for everyone.

Hopefully everyone can be able to start out fresh and new for the new Years.

For Me, I hope everything goes well for everyone and hope things become more useful and best as planned. 2008 brought us so many happyness, sadness, and more grief to the world. & 2008 have brung us so many memories that we all want to not forget/forget. (depends how yu want to put it...but yeah..)
In 2008 I have accomplished the following and have failed some..yet determined to hopefully go as planned and try not to PROCRASINATE as much.

Goals Accomplished in 2008.
-Meet New people (eventhough not much pple to even meet..-.-)
-Found a Job working out of state.
-Built new connections toward my mom and me.
-Actually earned money on my own to support myself..(sorta and somewhat)
Stayed healthy and good.
& Much more which I can barely think of now...

Goals Not Accomplished in 2008.
-Procrasinating saying I will do this or that but end up not..
-Didnt get my drivers liscense yet..9eventhough I will soon but not sure when)
-Visit my friends and family..(soon...)
-havent made any changes yet..

Hope to Accomplish for 2009.
-Show my mom and family how grown up I am.
-Learn how to drive.
-Do what I want to do best.
-Get my new ipod.
-Go back to school & continue to study.
-Visit my friends and family.
-Work harder and earn more and more money.
&Much More.

Well so far I still not sure what I still want to do..but hopefully the new year can be a best new year for me to start over and do new things and change for a bit as well. Hopefully everyone can be able to do the same thing as well.

Moonlight Resonance - Episode 2

This episodes continues where it ended in episode 1. Sum went back home and told her family members that she bumped into Ho, and he appeared very much darker than he used to be. Upon hearing this, Lai, their grandmother was very upset. The next day, she went to Hor Ma's bakery and scolded her. Lai blamed Hor Ma again for the death of her younger child and said that Hor Ma is possessive over her 2 children, Ho and Hing.

Lai told many of the neighbours present that she and Tai Jo have always opened their doors to welcome any of the children back to live with them but Hor Ma is reluctant to let the children move. She blamed Hor Ma for holding on to Ho and Hing and refused to let them lead better lives, and ruining their future.

Yuet ask a friend's help to find an office job for Hing. Hing is actually quite smart, doing well in her A Levels exam but she feels inferior because of her inability to speak. Ho and Yuet are very excited over the job prospect and encourage Hing to attend the interview but Hing refused, saying that she is happy helping Hor Ma at the bakery.

After dinner, the siblings were doing dishes when Sa Yee came into the kitchen. The used sign language to communicate so that Sa Yee wouldn't understand what they were talking about. (This scene is funny and cute and it's heart warming to see the closeness they share!) Sa Yee tried to take part in the conversation but they ignored her. She misinterpret what Ho, Yuet and Hing were saying. She assumed that they were talking bad about her and that her father had told everyone her secret, which in fact he has not! The reason Sa Yee came back to Hong Kong was because her husband had cheated on her. She is having financial problems and had borrowed HKD 20,000 from her father.

Hor Ma used to have a worker named Nien Tze Yong but when Yan Hong expand Tai Jo's side of business, she took away all of Hor Ma's workers. Yan Hong offered them better pay and benefits. Nien Tze Yong also blind-sided Hor Ma when he agreed to stay and help her then changed his words and switched to Yan Hong's side. The worst part was he brought along the other workers with him.

Sum went to visit Hor Ma's family, and tells Hor Ma that she also wants to chip in for Hor Ma's dental surgery. Hor Ma needs to remove 6 of her tooth and Ho previously suggested that all her 6 children pay for the cost. Sum wants to share the cost as well, because she is unofficially Hor Ma's seventh child. She was nicknamed Chau, so that Hor Ma's father can have 7 grandchildren that wished for.

Hor ma's father, Tat Suk, shares with the family his dream. He has always wanted to have the entire family over for Mid-Autumn Festival on the actual day itself. Over the years, the children have always had their Mid-Autumn reunion dinner with Tai Jo's side of the family on the actual day while Hor Ma's side always celebrate one day later. As such, Tat Suk's dream is to have the reunion dinner on the actual day this year!

Upon hearing this, Ho went to talk to Lai and asked her to let Hor Ma's side of the family have their reunion dinner on the actual day. Lai promised to consider his request. Lai then told Tai Jo that she would be going sailing on Mid-Autumn night, as such to ask the children to go over to Hor Ma's side for dinner.

Due to some complications with their bakery store location, Yan Hong told Tai Jo to ask Hor Ma to change her bakery's name. Tai Jo then used the excuse that if Hor Ma's father wants to have reunion dinner on the actual day, they would have to change their shop's name. Tai Jo even lied saying he was the one who begged Lai to allow them to eat on the actual day. This is not true and Ho knows about it. He was so angry and he let Sa Yee out, who was trapped in the bathroom, to attack Tai Jo. (The scene was really hilarious, like a caged bull suddenly released, charging out!) The family then told Tat Suk that they can have their reunion dinner on the actual day and he was very pleased. He doesn't mind that they have to change their shop's name!

Rewatching Moonlight agains. so yeah.

Moonlight Resonance - Episode 1

Finally the much awaited series, Moonlight Resonance, has started airing and the first episode is interesting. We are slowly introduced to the major characters and the Kam and Chung family background.

Hor Ma and Kam Tai Jo were a couple who own a mooncake bakery and has 6 children, Ka, Ho, Yuet, Yuen, Hing and Chung. They were once a happy family until Tai Jo had an extra-marital affair with one of their workers, Yan Hong. This caused Tai Jo to divorce Hor Ma and the children were separated. Hor Ma wanted to take care of all her children but Tai Jo was also adamant that the children followed him. They couldn't agree and the decision was left to the Family Court. Tai Jo end up with custody of their 3 sons, Ka, Yuen and Chung while Ho Ma was given the custody of Ho, their second son and Yuet and Hing, their 2 daughters. Yuet is not their biological daughter, she was adopted and Hing is mute.

Lai, Tai Jo's mother was upset that they have only custody of children, and moreover, her favourite grandson, Ho, was to follow Hor Ma. She scolded Hor Ma outside the courthouse and blamed Hor Ma for the death of her younger son (details of it was not yet revealed).

The show then moved back to the present. Hor Ma's family was at the airport to welcome someone back and the person turned out to be Sa Yee, Hor Ma's sister who once lived in Portugal.

Sa Yee was appalled when she realised that Hor Ma did not get any alimony from Tai Jo and she was shocked that Tai Jo's side of the family has done so well with their business all over Hong Kong. She wants Hor Ma to ask for some compensation from Tai Jo.

We also learned that Yan Hong was an immigrant that came to work in Hor Ma's bakery with her husband, Keong. They have a daughter named Sum. Soon after settling down, Keong had an affair and left Yan Hong. Hor Ma took pity on her and let her continue working with them even after she made a mistake. She then started an affair with Tai Jo. Hor Ma had already knew of their affair but she pretended not to know for the sake of her children. Yan Hong pressured Tai Jo to divorce Hor Ma but he couldn't do it. So, Yan Hong took matters into her own hands and demand for a divorce.

The children were a close bunch, particularly Ho and Sum. They were childhood sweethearts and have to be separated in these circumstances. It's heart-wrenching to see these two part and say their goodbyes.

Comments : such a sad opening...yet i felt so bad for Chau and Ho. So sad...but yeah. The kids had to be broken up and all..such a sad scene and bad influence for the kids..but yeah. Hung Yee so evil man. even Joe bao so 'yun sum' to see the kids broken up...><....I think the kids shouldnt have deserved that. but yeah.
